FAT MAX!!!!!!

Poor Maxi is just getting bigger and bigger and he's not even on solids yet!!! Hes only 3 and a half months but always very hungry and still wakes through the night to drink his milk. Here a just a few photos of the big man....PS- dont mind the hairy chest in the bath photo!!!!

EMILY'S ACCIDENT

Poor Emily had her first little accident. We were at the post office and she was playing in the kids corner and i was at the desk when i heard her crying really loud. I ran to see her and she had a blood nose and a scrape under her nose. I'm not sure what happened as she didnt say but i think she was climbing on something she shouldnt have and fell down. Shes ok just has a scabby nose!!

MORE EASTER EGGS

EASTER EGGS

Easter is coming up so we have been having fun making easter eggs. I had to blow out the yolk and Emily painted them all. She was very proud of her work. Once they were dry we put them in a basket for Easter bunny to see when he comes.

FAMILY BAND!!

I was out at the shops and came home to the sound of music in the bedroom. My family were having a great time making music, Hens on the guitar, Emily on the piano and Max on vocals!!

BIKES

We've just bought henning a new bike so he now rides to work about 20mins each way. tomorrow we're buying me a bike and a trailer for the kids. its quite common here to have a bike trailer. here are some photos of max in his new bike seat, it fits inside the trailer. emily will go into the normal seat next to him. i'll put some photos of the trailer up soon.

SUMMERTIME

Since we've been here the weather has been very cold below zero a lot of the time. So it was funny to see that yesterday when it was 13 degrees everyone was out in the mall. There were so many people out and so many people were eating icecreams like it was summer. It just made us laugh as we still think 13 degrees is not icecream weather!!!

MOBILE

Check out my handyman skills!!! We wanted a mobile for max but they were too expensive so i made my own. i just bought the wood got them to cut it to size then put it together and painted it. max loves it hes usually smiling just not in these pictures. he loves looking at the animals on it.

MORE SNOWY DAYS

Just when we thought we had finished with the snow we got another down pour. It was great and looked really nice. We were very excited!!!

EMILY

Emily has been practicing writing her name and is getting better at it. She is very proud. I write her name first then she copies it.

GYMNASIUM

Here is a photo of emily at the gym with her kindergarten. they go each week and meet other kindergartens and all run around and jump etc. she loved it had a big smile on her face all the time!!!

MORE KINDERGARTEN PHOTOS

Its really great emily really enjoys it here and there are only 14 children with 2 carers so they all know each other well.

KINDERGARTEN

Emily has now started kindergarten. Its been a slow process as i have to go with her each day and stay. She really loves it and it has a great program. Each day they do an activity. eg modays they go out the gymnasium, tuesday they have a lady come in and do music with them. They go out to the theatre and many other activities. The only negative i see is that the parents have to prepare lunch once a month and if you know what my cooking is like then you know how im feeling!!!

OUR HOUSE

Here are some photos of our apartment. It is really great for us a bedroom each and a nice living area. As you can see from the photos its quite light and look at the picture of the shower we even have a window in the roof to look at the sky in case we're bored whilst having a shower!! We also have a window in the roof above our bed so its nice lying in bed looking at the clouds or snow or rain etc. We also live in a great location. Just up the road is a huge mall about 5 times as long as the rundle mall or perth mall and even wider. It has heaps of shops and also a big shopping centre like a westfield one. We dont even have to leave the neighbourhood which is great.

BACK ONLINE!!!

Finally after a week of having no internet or telephone we are finally back and able to put more news and photos up!! I unplugged something near the telephone and did something to the telephone box that controls everything so i guess it was my fault. Anyway we have lots of things to put up now so have a look!!
