On saturday it was May 1st and here in Berlin this date is renowned for violence between the police and left wing groups. There are always riots each year and lots of violence. At one srage we were in the city and counted 16 police busses full of police go past with their sirens going. There were police all over the city but we read today that there was still a lot of violence. We had to try and take these pictures without them knowing but im sure that they could see us!!! I was pretending to be a tourist taking photos of some buildings!!
